Registration closes July 12th.

The main event is two easy-going, friendly cruiser-style races on Saturday. One course is specially designed for new sailors. The whole day is designed for non-racers, so don't be afraid to join us, even if you've never raced before. We'll have simplified regatta rules for non-racers; all you need to know is the ordinary "rules of the road" for sailing. . (Click here for the Eligibility and Regatta Rules.)

After the races, the party begins. Saturday night we'll have the Award Ceremony and dinner at the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club. We'll be staying overnight at the Monterey Yacht Harbor.

On Sunday morning, free coffe will be served at the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club. or you go to a local restaurant for a full breakfast. There'll be plenty of free time for sailing, socializing, and hanging out at the yachtclub on Sunday.

You don't have to race to join the party. If you'd rather daysail than race, that's fine -- come and join us! Just check off the appropriate boxes on the registration form for the activities you want to attend.

Last year, 48 boats showed up for the regatta. There were skippers of all skill levels and boat of every description -- and everybody had a great weekend!

This will be a two or three mile triangle race, in lighter morning winds, stayiing fairly close to Monterey Harbor. Only this race will count towards the Special Trophies for Novice Winners. Pack a lunch to eat on your boat after the first race. Click here for the Eligibility and Regatta Rules
1:15 or 1:30 pm: Start of second race.

We'll sail two more triangle races. Each race will consist of an upwind leg and two broad reaching legs.

It's less work and more fun than the typical upwind/downwind courses. No long legs beating to weather. It's more like cruising than racing. And if you decide to drop out and head for the bar at the yachtclub, you won't have far to sail!
